Motion Assighnment- Contact sheet & Pictures.

This assighnment was fun to shoot, but also very challenging. I like how some of my photos turned  out. Although, I never got a good panning shot. These two photos I have done so far I really like, due to the contrast and also the movment. I think the kick is cool; especially how high it is.  My contact  sheet was really dark though I printed it twice. I can see the pictures which is good but, I wish it would of turned out lighter. I had the idea of just taking a picture of an arm&hand ( the last couple photos on my contact sheet) and I’m excited to print those out.

Continuing with pictures from my second role of film.

I really like a lot of these pictures. But my absolute favorite has to be the one of my sister. I’m sure I’ll want to use that in my portfolio as well as one of the object that I have. I put them side by side because originally it was in the middle and I re did it so it would be on the left side more, though sadly it has filter stains on it ( which I’ll have to redo).  I also really like the clock picture and I just wanted to try it with the stain to see if it would look cool. I don’t think it’s my favorite but if I had more contrast it may turn out to be a cool photo? The room picture is also one of my favorite. I think if I crop out part of the wall it would be a nice addition to my portfolio and I love the lighting.

Second Role of Film continuing Frames and Composition photos

I continued taking photos with my second role of film ( technically 3rd since my 2nd turned up black)  and I really like most of my prints so far. I changed a lot of aperatures and filters ecperimenting and trying to get enough light and still have contrast. The hardest photo may have been the type writer since the negative was really light.. and I wanted to keep the contrast but have it show up.  I really like the geometrical object picture, it ties into our next asighnment being abstract and I love the light coming in the photo.

This photo I really like also. Though it’s simple I think it’s pretty and effective. It has the dark wall which nicely contrast with the windows and bright light pouring in the room. Ascetically, it is a pleasing photo that has a wide variety of grays in my opinion.
