Project One

For this project we had to photograph about thirty pictures or more of two different subjects. We then had to choose the top fifteen. After editing all them choose the top three of each subject. This project is supposed to get us to use our cameras, and learn more about how to shoot as well as editing.  The two subjects I took pictures of were the Pioneer Courthouse Square Building and my dog, Palmer.

Before:
For this photo I experimented with a black and white filter as well as little brightness. I gave it a more older feel. I kept the people in the picture to show how everyone is going about their business and I just took a quick picture of a moment in time.

Before:

This picture is once again black and white. I took a different angle of the building but still tried to incorporate something else in the picture which is the tree. The setting almost makes it look like the evening instead of the morning which I also like. I used barley any brightness and I cropped the picture.

Before:
For this photo I used some light and other cool filters.  It's a straight view of the building but as you can tell from one end to the other the light changes. The tree is once again in it but it's very subtle in comparison to the building. I really like the architecture that is seen is this picture as well as the contrast.

Before:
This is my dog Palmer. This picture is at a cool angle taken from the ground. I filtered it so it was black and white. I like how his paw is almost the biggest thing on the page. As wells as how most of his body is cropped out.

Before:
For this picture I kept it almost the same as the  original. I added some light to it but, besides that it's around the same. I cropped it so it's more  of a rectangle frame. One of the reasons I choose this picture was because of how well you can see his different color fur.

Before:
I used a darker filter so that my dog had more contrast with the room. I choose this picture because I really like his posture. I also cropped some of the room out but, I also left some of the wall and floor because I  felt like it was a good contrast.
